Beginning his exploration into the pool industry in 1981 and cultivating a fascination with its aspects, Greg Patterson was motivated to study the  service and repair of both pool and spas at Harbor College, located in San Pedro, California. Later, he was employed by Jack La Lane as a book keeper.  While working with Jack he successfully majored in Quality Assurance Engineering.  

Two years later, he excitingly founded Waterworks Pool and Spa Systems; a company that  professions in the installation and maintenance of pools and spas across the Inland Empire. 

Because of the rapid  success and growth of this 21 year family operated business; the inclination to join in the ever-expanding internet market was deemed necessary to turn a small local business into a nationwide provider of pool equipment and accessories.
